TroIl wrote Hold old are you?
Every since I was 6 I had to live practically on my own. I took mself to the park, I made my own drinks. I made my own bed, I brought my own school lunches. My dad left my mom without a single goodbye. Im 17 now. I failed school, I got no grades, No support. But I do work. Earn myself abit of money to enjoy the weekend so the best thing to do it to from past experience is: Dont feel sorry for yourself, Be tough, Dont get involved, Never give up on your goals no watter what puts you down. If you ever want to talk I'm always here for support bro.
I'm 16 years old, my life isn't that hard but on the first day it's just so confusing. I just can't believe that my parents are getting divorced. They lived with ea for 23 years. They have supported me for 16 years. We have been on so many holidays together. I usually don't get sad but.. this time i'm actually really sad.

Just keep calm and enjoy life, most of the "i want to redo" parts of my life are because i over reacted to my parents divorcing. Just chill out, everything will get better, and if you get your grades up your self a steam will rise through the roof! just some few tips i have!

Listen man, its going to get hard, life is truly hard, I'm 19 and I've gone through some shit, my senior year in highschool i was selling weed, and i got my graduation present early, it was a 2001 honda civic, well i learned the hard way that anything you have can be taken away instantly, I had a wreck 1 month after recieving my car, TOTALED it. Fractured my face in several places, had surgery, and got through it, and funny part was I "had so many friends" but 2 came to see me in the 3 weeks i was out of school. A week after graduation my parents told me the they were getting a divorced after 22 years, everything I ever knew. Gone. My dad left, my mom left. My sister is in college, and my brother works constantly, relatives live far away. Im all I have, but Im getting through it. Just remember that you are never alone man, pm me if you need anything, because Ive been through alot and Im a good listener.

You're trying to become a heart surgeon? Man! That's cool. I'm going to become a software engineer. Listen, my parents got divorced when I was 9. It does get easier, so does school. You should take notes in all your classes and try to get your mind off of it.
Get out of the house if you have to, go hang out with friends. Join after school clubs, go talk to your principal/assistant principal. They'll help you out, spill your heart to your guidance councilor.
Best advice I can give you is to suck it up and not let it affect you, because if you let it, you will slip in school. I almost did, but I had to suck it up, not socialize with anyone, and stay confined in my room. I did my homework, studied and passed. Also, to become a heart surgeon you're going to NEED to get higher grades so colleges will accept you into that field of study.
EDIT: Don't do drugs and go to the dark side. I don't want that to happen.
With all the best regards,
iOS8 (Kira)

There's a guy in my school who's dads in a wheelchair, mams depressed and nanas nearly dead. He has terrible grades in school and has to look after himself and he's just always happy. Even though it's hard try and look at the glass half full, my parents got divorced a while back and my dad left without a peep but it's not all bad. Just keep your chin up and people will recognise your positive attitude. Being sad doesn't change anything. Make that surgeon job happen and don't let anyone tell you that you can't.
