My pc is a room away from my router so i cant connect it and i was wondering if this would make it connect to the internet.

Do you have plug-in internet or wifi? I'm guessing you have plug-in, lol. If it's wifi and you're next door, I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to connect.

I'm not sure on that, though. I've never heard of one of those.

I don't understand why it wouldn't work if it was one room a away, I'm about 80 feet away from the room that has my router, and mine works .

i know but i thought i need to have something that actually detects wifi in my computer. So all i need is that no ethernet cable?

I wouldn't get that if your PC is far away from the router. Your best option would to get a PCI-E card with external antennas.

Yeah that should work but if its pretty far away I recommend getting an adapter with antenaes or something along those lines.
