Try using a ethernet cable for connection instead of wireless?

Amthrax wrote Gamestop told me that MIcrosoft wanted to limit the Xbox One to one per household since it is supposed to be a family console. I tried to buy another Xbox One at Gamestop on the same Gamestop account I have at the store and the manager told me i was unable to. I think this is the reason as to why you can't play on two at the same time. I could be wrong but i figured i would share.
It's because there in high demand...

That's pretty messed up. I'm just glad I'm the only gamer in my house.

I have a friend who has multiple xbox ones online and no problems, my recommendation would be to connect one wirelessly and one wired and see how that turns out!

I think you got a bogus excuse/reason by the employee. Don't know why they would disconnect if there are two online at the same time. My brother and I both have xbox ones and we never get disconnected. I played with him for hours and nothing ever happened.

That isn't the Xbox One's fault, I have 2 Xbox Ones in my house that are on that same time and work fine, it's your Internet. Contact your ISP

Your internet may be too slow, are you both on separate accounts?
