So I used Evasion to try to jailbreak today and after I pressed jailbreak, my phone rebooted and stayed at the apple icon even after reboots. The battery finally shut off, so I need help from here. i know there's a fix, but I need a more in-depth explanation!

Thanks!

I had the same problem on a Sprint iPhone 4S. A dfu mode restore fixed it.

Plug in your phone to your laptop. then hold the power button and home button at the same time for 10 seconds, after 10 seconds keep holding the home button and it should go into dfu or safe mode. Then iTunes will recognize it saying you will need to restore it. That is the only way!

Unless you figure out a way to fix your lock button, no. I had the same issue and I had to buy a brand new phone.

If you have no other options, the next thing to do is to restore and re-jailbreak.

Yeah dude. So try and fix your lock button yourself. Or you're just gonna have to get a new phone.
