Ok, here's the story, I was walking to the bus this morning and the bus oddly never came. 10 minutes later I start walking home because I knew the bus wasn't going to come and pick me up to go to school. As I walk home this "Stray" Puppy comes along and is begging for food and attention (I think). So I took him home and I'm currently taking care of him. I have never had a pet before. He's got nothing on him that shows he's someone's dog. My plan is to return him to whoever's dog it is IF they care about the poor little dog enough.
Someone PLEASE help me out by giving tips or what I should feed him.
(Sorry for making you guys/girls read so much)
-Thank You so much for your time!

feed him dog food , give him water to drink. Take him to the vet or somewhere to get him checked out for anything wrong with him.

Put out fliers around the area and hopefully the owner should see one or call RSPCA

the dog has obviously been traumatized if he has been abandoned, comfort the dog mostly just pet him and show that you are there.
apart from that maybe bath the dog and you could research the food the dog takes. I would maybe recommend a vet first the dog might not take some foods. Then the obvious water as well as food.
watch the dog with kids as well sometimes dogs aren't big fans of children.
Apart from that dogs are generally quite easy to handle. Good luck.

Make sure to feed him, give him water, and take him for walks. When you're ready to start looking for the owner, post fliers around your area.

Also, If you cannot find the owner you should for a care place that look after dogs, plus you should take him to the vets as well.
We found a stray cat and looked after it for several weeks and got a bed for him to sleep in. And then we took him to a cat rescue place and then on hopefully he was looked after.

Guys, I'm sorry to say this but, m y parents let the dog go after a while. I was really looking forward to using all of your tips, but my dad said we couldn't afford to keep him. Thanks for all the support guys, I really appreciate it. I'm sorry. My parents say if we see him again and we have the opportunity to take him in again, we will, but I'm the meantime, we have to get all the supplies for him.
