No same price as the Xbox 360 online although if you have both the same membership carries over with your account

Nope, sadly it's not free.

It's literally the same policy online as the Xbox 360.

I found out that if you have one account on the Xbox One that has a live membership, you can play online and do everything on an account that does not have xbox live.

As far as I know this is only on the Xbox One.

Price for gold is the same. And your gold transfers over form 360 to One.
