Hello, I was wondering if this laptop [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] will be able to fully run an Elgato?

yes it should be able to run elgato. Im not 100% sure if it will lag but theres ways to fix that

try getting a hd pvr instead? that uses alot less resources than the elgato

I don't want to get a pvr because of how many wires it uses

It should be fine. I can use my HD capture card on my laptop, and it's not as good as that.

You'll be fine with using the Elgato on that laptop.

Any PC with a USB port can run any console capture card.

If the PC in question cannot use a recording software, i doubt it will launch a web browser. They are VERY easy to run. It's the editing you have to worry about.
