I have been banned from Xbox LIVE on my account and console. When I get a new console (and account) in a few weeks, should I go for achievements? If yes, should I bother with COD campaigns? I can't be arsed doing them all again, but I want the achievements.

Do you go for achievements? Do you do the COD campaigns for achievements? Do you do ones like "Kill 5 enemies using a different weapon each time", or just go for the mission ones? Do you just play multiplayer? Do you play a lot of single player and do the campaigns for the fun of it, or do the campaigns for the achievements but not look at them (e.g. do all the mission achievements, but don't go for ones like I said above)?

Sorry for going on with myself, don't know whether I should bother or not to go for them. Thanks. ;) Please answer in detail!

I go for achievements. I used to play mostly multiplier games such as Cod and Battlefield, but now I mostly play games for a good campaign and achievements. Don't get me wrong, I still play multiplier, but nowhere near as much as I used to. The only achievements I don't go for are the multiplier ones. I also go for as many extra achievements that are not related to the story.

If you wan't to go for achievements, it's a great pastime and plus you can go back and play all the classic titles such as GoW, L4D, Halo 3, Fallout, Mafia 2 and loads more. As far as CoD campaigns go, they get pretty boring, but do net lots of easy gamerscore.

I sometimes go for achievements when I'm really bored. But most of the time, I just play multiplayer.

Generally yes, but cod campaigns get really boring after the first playthrough.

Don't waste your time on dead games try something new!

Personally i just do it for fun. If you don't think that you'd enjoy going for them, don't bother. Your xbox should be for enjoying yourself, and not feel like a chore
