ok so im stuck deciding on what card i should get,

my build: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

the Asus GeForce GTX 780 DirectCU II OC
or
the asus geforce gtx 780

the 1st card comes overclocked if im sure

i am a 'noob' at overclocking and dont plan on doing it anytime soon but i want a 780 card.

if you can help me / give me tips or reccomend a card please do.

Well if it comes overclocked it's going to perform better, just make sure that you have good cooling and that you keep your PC ventilated

The build is just....wrong. You have a locked non-overclockable processor on a overkill board with a pointless cooler. Also the power supply is like way too much wattage and that range of unit is usually more expensive than its rivals.

Whats your budget for the entire rig?

The directCU II is a great cooler, I'd go with that, as long as it isn't too expensive.

For your build; why have you gone with a liguid cooler and an expensive z87 motherboard if you aren't going to be overclocking?

go for the first one, because the second one comes with the Asus reference cooler, which isn't as good as Direct CU II cooling. and the card comes overclocked, so you wont have to do it yourself.

im not a genius at building a pc as you have seen...

around 1400

i might get into overclocking later.

mainly gaming, some grahpics/video editing for work
