Personally I go with the Big Bang theory, and I know a lot of religious people who do too.
At the moment scientists don't have a firm grasp on what occurred before the Big Bang, or what caused it, so both sides of the fence can accept this without losing faith.

However, I don't feel like a lack of understanding should be filled with a Godly explanation simply because it's easier than actually finding out what really happened.

If you study theology like I have, you would understand that both can co-exist without contradicting each other.

Creationism is an entertaining idea but it lacks valid proof. Until Creationism is proven, I will stick to the Big Bang theory.

I would have to go with the Big Bang. Seems way more logical than a supreme being casting everything

There is far more evidence on Charles Darwin's theory of evolution than a book that says there is an almighty being creating everything in 7 24 hours days.

A minority of Christians, who take Genesis to be a literal story, believe the world is 6,000 years old. However, most Christians accept Genesis as a parable, as there are so many parables in the Bible anyway.

But it takes millions of years for Continental Drifts, in my opinion proving that the world is 6,000 years old theory wrong.
