If I mod my crown from 1 year to 2 years will i get banned?

and another thing is will it update by years like
if i mod it to 2 will it become 3 after a year by itself?

i modded my crown and got banned within a week, does recomment doing it.

You will probably be banned within a month after modding your tenure. Microsoft doesnt go lightly with profile modding, it can result in a permanent 12/31/9999 profile ban, be careful this is a warning.

Any modifications of your account can result in a ban! My advice would be to just not do it and earn your years of reputation, as for game modifications like USB modding I say go ahead those are fun!

Microsoft may reset your crown but modding it by a large amount will get you perma banned
