So basically when i plug my pc into a router which is connected through the wall into a switch which is plugged into the modem it works fine. But when i plug straight into the wall i cant get internet connectivity?? Im so confused its going to the same switch.

There's probably a short or messed up wire in the wall unless one of the wall plugs are messed up.

thats what i thought but that same plug like i said works when going through a router?
