I am a hoster and all this information is coming from me. This information is gathered from me joining modded lobbies before I got my rgh and me knowing how to detect a fake modded lobby by things that are not possible yet, All this information don't mean the modded lobby is fake but there's a good possibility it is and you shouldn't try joining it. Please keep this topic alive by posting on it so people don't waste there time joining modded lobbies and this topic will be updated when such things I poster are possible.

- There is hardly any fake Cod 4 modded lobbys because most of the time people host infections that they get infected from other people, but there are still a few ways to identify getting into a fake.

-One way to identify a fake cod 4 modded lobby is if it says permanent infectable mod menu anywhere, its fake because it is not yet possible to give out permanent Cod 4 infectable Mod Menus.

-If someone is asking to recover your account don't do it because recoveries are no required on cod 4 and he cannot give you a mod menu of any sort through recovery.

There is hardly any fake Cod 5 WaW modded lobbys because most people can get infection for free or install an iso disk to your console and host a mod menu without a modded console. But there will still be a few ways to identify fake Cod 5 WaW Modded Lobbys.

-One way to identify a COD 5 WaW modded lobby is if it says permanent infections/mod menus do not trust them because after you shut of your console or after a few games the infectable mod menu/infections will go away. It is impossible to give permanent infections/ mod menus if you do it yourself.

-If they tell you to do an account recover don't do it because everything they said they can do with the recovery can be simply done online.

-If they tell you there going to give you a mod menu when they recover your account they can because if they give you infections they will go away and you cannot transfer an iso mo menu through recovery you have to have a flashed drive to read the iso disk or you gonna have to hot swap the iso disk with the original game disk.

There are plenty of ways to identify mw2 modded lobbies I am not going to post them all but I will post the most common ways to avoid wasting your time in trying to get into a fake MW2 modded lobby.

-One common way to identify a fake mw2 lobby is if they do not provide any proof on the topic that they can host, the proof has to be with their GT and TTG name and date if they cannot provide that proof they are fake and don't waste your time trying to joining the lobby. Also the proof has to be them hosting the lobby there giving you with them giving them selves rank, stats, challenges... etc... and an online mod menu is also fine as proof, or them bringing there rgh online on the newest dashboard which is 16547.

-Another way to identify a fake MW2 lobby is if they do not have a good in depth topic, If there topic has just there GT to join and no other info they are 99% fake and they will just be trying to scam you in game.

-If the topic tells you to contact them on (Skype,aim,kik...) before joining the lobby the lobby is 99% fake and they will be trying to charge you for the lobby if they are legit.

-If they tell you they can give you a permanent any kind of tu8 menu or XP infections through recovery they are obviously trying to scam you because only jtags/rgh's can read/load those types of files and if they give you the infections they will go away by the time you sign back into your console.

There are a few ways to identify a fake BO1 lobby, I can't list all the possible ways because I hardly host BO1 but I have some knowledge from youtube videos... and I know what basically can and cant be done.

-One way you can avoid from joining a fake BO1 lobby is if it says any all client mod menu... its fake because there is only 1 or 2 mod menus out for bo1 and they might say their all client but they actually do not work for rank, challenges, stats and challenges...

-If they post any other contact info either than TTG or xbox they are going to try to see if you can donate or know anyone that can donate. And if they do not provide any actual proof meaning the date, online with a server or hosting the game with there GT and TTG name somewhere in the video the lobby is 99% gonna be fake.

-If they sit in a private match and say there not gonna start the game unless someone pays and don't provide any proof most of the time the lobby is going to be fake.

Most MW3 lobby's that you will see posted on TTG are going to be fake. If you want to get stats, challenges... you will have to get a recovery because there are no all client stat tools available for MW3. The only person on TTG at the moment the is allowed to do recoveries is RapCat, look at his sticky topic if you would like to purchase any COD recoveries.

-Only XP lobbys are available to change your rank without a recovery so if people say they will change your rank any other way besides an XP lobby/Recovery they are wrong and I haven't seen anyone do that.

-If they show you proof they can host when they give you some infections, changing GT's... they do have a modded console but they are still unable to edit your rank, stats... without a recovery.

-Do not join any lobby's with a real short topic or just a GT with no proof because you are wasting your time and 99% of the time you will be joining a fake modded lobby.

BO2 fake modded lobby's are real simple to identify because they can only be done through recovery. There are currently no Xbox mod menu's out and if there were to be a lobby online it would only be a fun lobby it wouldn't change you rank, give you stats, nor give you challenges. So anyone that says they can host that online they are fake and o not trust them unless they can provide some proof they can do it to someone else besides them selves online.

-Recovery's could be done on BO2 so do not pay for an online challenge or prestige lobby's.

-Do not waster your time joining any lobby's unless you joining them just to play around in the game.

Cod Ghost lobby's can also only be done through recovery. Since TU8 was release they patched a lot of things and all client stat tools do not work anymore. You can still get into fun lobbys on cod ghost but your not gonna get anything out of them.

-Only way you can get anything on ghost is to join and XP lobby, but anything else has to be through recovery since all client stat tools were patched when TU8 was released.

-Do not pay for any ghost XP lobby's just wait and join one for free when someone is hosting one.

-Make sure the host provides proof of the xp lobby.

This is not to break any of the rules by posting this, but people are still going to try to pay for modded lobbies that are not verified by you guys. This is a topic to help people avoid being scammed but it does not guarantee you still won't be scammed. And there will be a link at the end of the post to the one modded lobby seller you guys verified.

This is just to help you guys avoid being scammed if you guys are planning to pay for a modded lobby. This is not to tell you to go ahead and purchase from the people that fit what I post below. And this does not guarantee you will not be scammed but there's a good chance you wont. I suggest you guys all purchase from the only trusted modded lobby seller RapCat he is the only guaranteed person who will not scam you!

-Make sure the person that is hosting has a lot of vouches, if he has only a few I suggest going to someone else
-Most trusted hosters will only accept paypal, or any payment method they can pay for [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . xblse .com, they will most likely not accept any XBL card.
-Make sure the seller provides proof of him hosting online before you pay or if hes doing a recovery make sure he provides some videos for you to look at and make sure there legit.
-Do not pay for any permanent mod menu because there is no such thing as a permanent mod menu.
-Only sent the payment if the seller provides enough proof.
-If the seller is legit he will have a lot of vouches on his modded lobby topics and a lot of vouches on his TTG wall.
-Do not trust members that just joined TTG an that have little rep and low post count, most of the time you will be getting scammed.
-Only contact people through TTG PM or IM system so if you o get scammed the staff can see that you are not lieing and they might do something so the person doesn't scam anyone else on the website.
-Read all the whole topic from top to bottom and you will most likely not be joining fake modded lobby's or getting scammed.
