I jail broke my iPhone 5 recently (it worked) but just made my screen go black and and didn't give me control of any of the buttons.

I had to restore my phone.

In my opinion I would just leave it in case you get it worse than I did but it is completely up to you.

I use to jailbreak my iPhone for one main reason - the ability to connect it to my 27 inch monitor. A feature I wish Apple would build in the iOS. Now there is an App called AirServer using the Air Play technology, it allows me to mirror the iOS devices to any Mac or PC monitor WIRELESSLY! my Dream came true! The app is only $15.00 well worth it.

With that, I have no reason to jailbreak. Not to mention Apple seems to step up its effort in this cat and mouse game, who knows, the next update might as well patch the loophole to dim the j/b useless. Waste of time and risk jail bricking. Not worth it.

I like to keep my be loved iPhone 5 in one piece, inside and out.

Jail breaking is good in the short term but bad in the long term.

Unless you know exactly what you want to do with your jailbreak I would say no.

To me, the only reason to jailbreak anymore is to use the Pandora Downloader.

Well I would say yes! But it is all up to you. If you are tired of the old boring iPhone and want to spice thing's up then go ahead!

But if you don't know what to do once your jailbroken then I would say no. This reason being you might possibly mess up your iPhone really bad. It is always a risk that your willing to take when you first jailbreak.

I hope this helped your decision out if you decide to jailbreak you can always contact me through PM on TTG.
