Definitely understand what you're saying. I've rarely had things stolen from me in real life. However, I get scammed quite frequently over the internet. Even when using ebay (should be secure) people claim money and just give false reasons. It's just so sad.
A few years ago an intruder came into my house and help my brother & dad at gun point, then tied them up and threw them to the floor. He stole everything valuable and left.
He's currently serving 34 years in federal prison.
