My friend wants to build a computer for 600 for a lot of graphic design and a little gaming, I told him if he wanted to use MacOSX(design program options) that he would need an intel chip but we decided that a multi core AMD was the better option and to just use windows(opinions please). He doesn't play graphically intensive games but he will need a good graphics card that can be used with programs to accelerate rendering where applicable. He doesn't need the KB/Mouse/Monitor/OS and it will be built in the BitFenix Prodigy(also in the 600GBP budget).

*EDIT*

Build around a BitFenix Prodigy + i5-4670k, budget 600GBP, DONT need Mouse/KB/Monitor/OS

The only mITX motherboards I know of are FM2(+) so unless you want the new APU, I would go Intel.

What have you bought so far?

He hasn't bought anything yet, and I am saying the same thing to him, as going intel would allow a better CPU that isn't outdated or an APU, whilst also allowing him to use MacOSX but with only 4 cores(unless he can magically afford an i7).

The hackintosh isn't that big an issue, whats more of an issue is he wants an SSD in a 600 pound budget, I will look again but if someone can suggest a mITX build with an SSD and a HDD that would be fab.

Should of done it with scan^ can't be arsed to sort all into scan but anyway i think that will outperform your build. People will comment on this whether its good or not anyway.
