A very deep area of LOW pressure is over the UK bringing torrential rain and 80 to 100 MPH winds, the met office has already issued a red alert for wind for Ireland and northwest parts of Scotland.

I am getting this wind now. Had a power cut last night from very strong winds.
I live up in the mountains so the wind and rain is terrible already. Can't wait for this:/

I'm in the North West and we're getting hit by the rain now.
The wind seems to be building up too, but we never really get affected by terrible weather here.
