To get a different colored name is pretty simple... or in some cases hard.

Some Ways:
- Be a Premium Member (Gold Membership)
- Top 5 Poster
- Top 5 Weekly Poster
- Staff Member (Admin, Moderators and people like that)
I think there are other ways... But I forgot. :S

Ohh that's what I figured. And thanks for the rep, which I'm not sure how it works. So I see when you post you gain a little bit of rep, but when you rep someone does your rep go to them? Meaning if I had 10, you had 10, I gave you 5 would you have 15, and I would have 5? Or would I have 10, you 15?

Heres how it works:

If I was to give you 10 rep. and I had 20 rep, I would then only have 10 rep, because I would have given you the other 10 of it.

So, the amount you want to give the person will get taken away from your reputation.

EDITS:
Vote is basically someone giving you rep. So, if I game you something like.... 4 rep, that would count as a vote. So, if 5 people gave you rep, you would then have 5 votes.
