Guys we also need to think about this, maybe he wasn't just swearing, could have made threats or done other actions. If he was making threats at other players it can become a legal issue for microsoft therefore they have the right to ban him, obviously something happened that was a little more than just cussing.

It's not bull. It was it their policy and YOU guys accepted their terms. I find it great that they're finally banning those annoying kids who scream and curse all the time. Good job microsoft. They got what they deserve.

I think this is absolutely ridiculous! I don't even play with a mic because I use my X12's but people hate on me because I have a 4.0 K/D and report me because I'm "hacking". If I get banned under false terms I'm going to totally ban Microsoft from my life!

They will not ban anyone for cursing/Swearing, unless it is reported as either harassment or Sexual Harrasment, which in person is illegal, and online is not tolerated by most companies. What happened here has to be traced back further. But ive cussed, yelled, and more at my xbox one while playing my games(I have cod ghost, i own 17 out of the 22/23 launch games., and ive cussed in skype, still have not been banned. If you were banned because of foul language/behavior it was more than likely linked back to something earlier as microsoft does not ban for these type of offenses in less than a day(Offenses to take effect, typically take 2-3 days to even be approved) But if your feel this was wrongfull, stop complaining and contact them.

Feel your pain. Nothing worse than trying to login and realizing that you've been banned. However, microsoft is usually pretty fair when it comes to banning people, in the sense that when they do it, they usually have enough proof that suggests you actually did what you're banned for doing. Also, there's a difference between freedom of speech and bullying another player.

Not saying you bullied anyone, but just a heads up.
