i just got my Samsung Galaxy III and is At&t and is 4.1.2 i try unlock in service mode is not showing [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ is showing [4] RAT_FREE_SUPPORTING ON anyone can tell me how unlock it ? i really want phone to be unlock so i can use metropcs sim card

After a certain firmware version that option becomes unavailable.

If you downgrade to below 4.1.1 the option will come back, you can unlock it, then upgrade back to 4.1.2 and it will keep the unlock.

Downgrade using Odin.

Yup. You may want to try to go to 4.0.4 because I don't remember the exact firmware version they stopped letting you do that but i'm almost 100% sure 4.1.1 will let you.


Just google "i747 4.1.1 stock rom odin"

i found it i am download it " I747UCDLK3_I747ATTDLK3_ATT.zip " is this correct package?

No, that looks like an update package but I could be wrong without knowing the source or downloading the file itself.


The file should be large(>500MB) and end in .tar.

Manually update it with odin
Just fine the i747 4.3 update thats flashable with odin.

Sorry, misread what you said. But yes, just connect with wifi and you should be able to update OTA. If not, just do a manual update with odin.

THANK YOU i just unlock my phone now i need connect meteropcs i have to buy new sim card then add plan then i am done ^_^ i would rather just wait until i connect metropcs then download update in s3 system setting
