I'm not surprised . We will probably end up making them, and not use them at all, or they get blown up real quick.

You people do realize that this could actually work? And that a concept like this doesn't need to be heavy? Nowadays you can get a tailor-made, regular looking bulletproof suit for less than $20,000 (they also weigh just about the same).

I'm sure they would make the armor a light but strong material.

I highly doubt seeing every military soldier receiving one of these as they will cost to much to manufacture if they are going to use an effective material.
