To kick off the RGH mod most of you will be looking for the most basic of things. Play games without disk, play GOD containers and the most popular, use FSD (Freestyle Dash) the open source alternative to Microsoft's NXE (New Xbox Experience Dash).

Follow the basic steps to get your home-brew on.

Required Items
Passwords are in next post to keep out the unreg ppl.
XexMenu 1.1 ISO
Xexmenu 1.1 Dashversion
NXE2GOD (XEX App) 1.1
ISO2GOD (Win App ISO Converter) 1.6 (Supports XGD3)

Optional
QuickBoot 1.2 (XEX Shortcut Creator, Win App)
FSD 2.0 RC 2.1 (More stable, FSD 2.2 simply wont do as there are million crashes, if you feel brave enough then go ahead with FSD 2.2, its up to you)
Dashlaunch 2.25 with pre-configured launch.ini

My Advice
Use the proven stable Microsoft NXE 13604 as your dash; this is my favorite method as I hate FSD. The reason is FSD is too unpredictable and unstable.

Step 1 Burn XexMenu 1.1 ISO to a DVD or CD, use imgburn or any ISO burner would do.

1.1 - Insert the burnt DVD or CD into Xbox and Play game, make sure that your Xbox DVD-rom is flashed with iXtreme fw so that it can read your normal dvd, if you didn't do this or dont know what flashing aDVD-rom means you should not be here.

1.2 - Plug the USB drive in your PC and format it with FAT32. Now copy the NXE2GOD Dash-version inside that. Also copy XEXMenu 1.1 Live into that, it should look like the following screenshot.

1.3 - Plug the USB flash drive into your Xbox.

1.4 - Press RB in your controller to access the USB/HDD in your xbox.

1.5 - Now copy the folder C0DE999 and its contents from the USB (Presss Y in XEXMenu for file actions) and goto HDD1:\Content\0000000000000000\ and paste it there.

1.6 Repeat the same steps again to copy NXE2GOD folder but this time in the HDD root create a folder called XEXApps and paste NXE2GOD into that folder.

If you have done all that correctly XEXMenu should appear in the Game Library as a game demo.

1.6 - Exit XEXMenu, eject the DVD (that's the last time you are going to need it) but keep it for future use.

1.7 - Launch XEXMenu from your game demos.

1.8 - From XEXMenu you can pretty much launch most XEX apps including NXE2GOD.

Expecting More??? Nope thats it

Step 3 (Optional for those who like to tryout FSD)

3.1 - Copy FSD to your USB drive in a folder called Freestyle. All contents of FSD should reside in a folder called Freestyle. Refer screenshot.

3.2 - Open QuickBoot and create a XEX shortcut like the following screenshot

3.3 - Copy this (generated shortcut) too to the USB drive

3.4 - Copy the shortcut folder and contents to HDD1:\Content\0000000000000000\ and paste it there.

3.5 - Copy Freestyle folder to HDD root (use XEXMenu for all this)
Thats it now you can launch FSD from your NXE.

Step 4 - Booting Directly to FSD 2.0 RC2.1 or 2.2 (For the brave ones )
4.1 - Extract dashlaunch 2.25 and configure the launch.ini to boot FSD from the folder you copied in Xbox in this case HDD1:\Freestyle\default.xex (I have already included a pre-configured launch.ini, if you have followed all the instructions given in previous steps and copied to exactly the same places then no need to worry, you can use it right away.)

4.2 - Now copy installer folder to the root of your flash drive.

4.3 - Now put the flash drive in your xbox, copy the launch.ini to the root of your internal HDD.

4.4 - Launch XEXMenu, navigate to the usb drive and launch dashlaunch installer, (default.xex inside the installer folder) and watch the installer install itself.

4.5 - Thats all reboot your console and wait for FSD to launch...

Note 1 - Initially I planned to include the boot directly to FSD, but booting directly to FSD became a pain and there are so many things that could go wrong (in dash launch installation), might even lead to re-flashing your console. So I left it out.

Note 2 - Added booting to FSD directly... In case any of you needed.

I don't think of myself to be perfect, so if there are any issues with the tut please let me know and I will fix. If you have any questions please be patient as I do not live here. I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge.
