I play LoL with my new pc that has a GTX 760 and a AMD 6300. I don't have it on 1080p its like 1280x1020 or so and i only get 90 in combat, while my friend has a 3570 and the same GPU as me and gets 140 in combat?? Why is this? He plays 1080 so maybe thats the issue but idk

I highly doubt that you have a monitor that even displays more than 60FPS (60Hz).
If you only have a 60Hz monitor then you don't need to worry about it.
90 FPS isn't something to worry about. It's still great.
It could be to do with the CPU, the 3570 is better than the 6300. I've never played LoL or read about it, so I'm not sure if it's CPU intensive or not, but it could be a factor.

It is not about cores all the time, neither clock speed. It doesn't work like that. For example, the AMD 8320 has 8 cores at 4.0GHZ, where as the I7 4770K has 4 cores @3.5ghz. the I7 is better. The intel CPU's have higher core performance per core than AMD's, meaning it can process more information at once. Also, clock speed isn't that improtant( unless you have a bad CPU which isn't the case. If you don't believe me hav a look on the internet, and look at comparisons between the 6300 and the other CPU.

League Of legends is fine at 60fps just because its on 60 doesn't mean its ebcause of you PC its what the game plays at or what your monitor refresh rate is. Nearly all people play at 60Fps

Because intel have a much stronger single core performance.
