Yes, I will agree with this... Reflowing is NOT a proper repair anymore. Reballing stuff doesn't actually cost very much to get. If you have proper reflowing equipment currently all you really need are the stencils.. Take a look at ebay and there are plenty of pretty cheap reball kits.
I personally don't have the time/patience to reball but thats because I just solder most of the day. I do send systems to a guy to REBALL them when its needed. I have a stack of systems that fail at some point during my testing. If your system randomly freezes up the only hope is reballing the GPU.
I know there's a big market on here for repairing RROD jtagged systems so if you want to specialize in that I know there's tons of jtags overheating on people around this forum.

dangit lol i shudnt have sold my xbox.. it had something wrong with the xclamps so it always overheateded and RROD a lot ;p
