whats the best computer monitor for console gaming. I've done some research but I'm getting mixed answers about how many Hz=fps. if anyone can shine some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Why does everyone say the BenQ thing, there is absolutely nothing about it that shows it is good for gaming. The 2ms panel is flawed in other places, such as color correction and image quality.
OP:
Hz & FPS are almost the same thing.
FPS is the amount of frames being pushed out by the graphics hardware of the console.
Hz is how many times the monitor refreshes per second, so if you you're getting 120FPS on a game, but your monitor has a 60Hz panel, only 60 of those FPS can be displayed on your monitor.
Make sense now?
But what is your price range and currency for the monitor and I'll give you some options to have a look into.
Not talking about the monitor Lavish linked!

The panel I listed is 1ms and is a 144Hz..
