So there are loads of videos on YouTube informing people that they are going to band for having modded NOS/TT cars. The main reason is because people are going into races and beating everyone cause their car is much faster. I wanted to know if there is any truth in this, and will people (including myself) get band or action taken - I remember before with modded cars - like the Space Docker etc, they just took them out of the garage. What are your guys opinions?

Honestly I don't believe R* will ban anyone for having these cars. I say this because if they are going to, they will be banning a very large amount of the players.

If you're using something that wasn't supposed to be there in the first place then you do run the risk of some sort of action against your account. They will probably release a patch that removes cars with it from peoples garages and stop the method used to get them online.

Just to bolster what IIGIFTGOLD typed R* will most probably remove the modded cars from people's garages via a patch/update and then enforce bans to anyone who continues to alter the game in a manner which is cheating. Besides if you cannot play the game legit then why bother playing it at all?

Modding is fine for single player but keep it off MP for the sake of the game and have a little respect for the other players who actually just want to go on and have fun with their mates.

I don't see how modding in a car is going to take away the fun for other people.

Try doing a Race against a NoS Car, takes away the fun when you know you won't/can't win!

Most of the time when I realise I'm not going to win I drive the opposite way around the track and aim for the person in first place, I'm a sore loser haha!

If one person got banned it was because they themselves were stupid and got 50 mil from duping modded cars

I heard that there's no way they can detect whether or not it's a nos car.
