Alice Herz-Sommer, believed to be the oldest-known Holocaust survivor, died Sunday morning in London at the age of 110.
This lady is a hero and inspiration to all. She made an amazing impact on many thats why she's a hero to me.

How is she a Hero, I can understand the inspiration part, but a hero, no. The term "Hero" is simply overused by people like you, your destroying the meaning of hero.

10000% agree with you. How is this woman a hero at all? Only people I EVER call heros are those fighting and dying for our country. To me, this is just an woman that survived the worse thing in world history. Dont get me wrong, its unbelievable and interesting but not at all a hero.

Really remarkable story. She survived the Holocaust and then lived to be 110... Most people don't live that long with out going through such a traumatic experience.

The Holocaust irritates me so much. I feel so bad for these people. I read a book, Some of you might want to check it out. Its pretty sad but its really good. Its 1st person point of view of someone who was in Auschwitz. His name is Elie Wiesel. It tells you about who runs these death camps and how they work. Its a really good book for those who like to read.

I've read that book several times in school. It's a great story.

She's a hero to me because she survived something some of my family weren't able to survive so Yea in my eyes she's a hero. And I'm pretty sure that doesn't make me ruin the meaning of hero
