Youtube just made these exploits more accessible to the public, people would still know about them and over time it would spread around.

OT, I do agree though that trickshotting has got way out of hand.

These have always been around, what ruined CoD was poor decision making when developing the games, not listening to the community, and the brand of CoD Players sitting in corners with futuristic garbage all day. Never happened in the days of CoD4/MW2
