I just watched the whole video and it doesnt look like you have the rrod take out the hard drive and all the cable then put the cables back in without the hard drive and boot it up and tell me what happens.
okay so its working and powered up, what exactly has just happened
Okay sweet now put the hard drive back in and it should work with the hard drive now.
so power it off then put the hdd back in then turn back on or just put the hdd back in?

This happens sometimes...Even starting it 5 times will still get you 1 red ring every time. But then you do it the 6th time and it boots up.

You can always bypass the plugin for it to boot as well. To do that if I remember right, press and hold the dvd eject once you power the console on, (I think this is how to do it, someone can correct me if I'm wrong though). It's not a hardware issue, just a plugin issue.

Wow nobody's gotten it right yet
Alright, E71 is a problem with Xam.xex as stated on tons of websites, even on Microsoft websites

You messed something up in the Flash portion of your console. You need to flash a new NAND image with a working Xam.xex onto your console to fix the issue

Well done on getting it fixed, I still don't know why you said 3 red ring when it was only 1 but never mind.
