This lady is a hero and inspiration to all.

How is she a Hero, I can understand the inspiration part, but a hero, no. The term "Hero" is simply overused by people like you, your destroying the meaning of hero.
She's a hero to me because she survived something some of my family weren't able to survive so Yea in my eyes she's a hero. And I'm pretty sure that doesn't make me ruin the meaning of hero
That means she is an inspiration to you, not a hero. Stop ruining such a great word.

I'm just in shock when I see this. Even though there's already ton of books and information about the holocaust, it's crazy to think that we will never again hear the story from someone who actually survived it. All that's left is their legacy, and what we know about what happened. While I agree with others that she's not a hero, it sure is impressive what she went through. And maybe not a 'hero' as in she fought for her country, but she inspired others and devoted her life to teaching others. I don't know about you guys, but to me, teachers are heroes.

CobraGFX wrote The Holocaust irritates me so much. I feel so bad for these people. I read a book, Some of you might want to check it out. Its pretty sad but its really good. Its 1st person point of view of someone who was in Auschwitz. His name is Elie Wiesel. It tells you about who runs these death camps and how they work. Its a really good book for those who like to read.

My great grandma is a survivor and is still living. Unfortunately I don't know how much longer she will be alive. Her husband (my great grandfather) was also a survivor. They met in the camps but he passed away a couple years back. They are/were very strong people. Definitely an inspiration. And my grandmother revisited the concentration camp she was in.
