So I've just starting playing Battlefield 4, I'm enjoying it and all but I want to be the best I can be at it.
My skill as a shooter player is nigh on unparalleled outside of the pro game and despite only being level 5 I'm already in accuracy Div 1 and Skill Div 4, my problem however, is the vast array of weapons and attachments I don't understand, as someone who normally plays call of duty it's all very new to me and I was hoping somebody might point me in the direction of the best class setups.
I'm an assault rifle player by trade currently using a SAR-21 with RDS, Tri-Beam and Ergo Grip.

The AKU-12 is a really good weopon but its not an assaunt rifle is it under the carbines and must work towards the gun by getting kills with carbines... Other than that i can reccomend trying out the DMR's

Use the first carbine. The AK5C is a beastly gun if you use the right attachments. I prefer green laser, Kobra RDS, Muzzle break and angled grip. You should find yourself winning most fights at short range, medium range and possibly long range if you burst fire.

the green laser sight blinds more than the red but the red helps hip fire easyer and tribeam does both but is more visible
my assault load-out
ace 23 coyote laser sight (red) and compositor
magnum or compac 45
med bag or packs depending on game mode
defibrillators or noob tube(bit of cod talk)
RGO impact
carbon fiber knife(makes no difference)
grenadier

Currently the best gun in the game is ace-23 work towards getting it the attachments you should use is red dot any work go on preference compensator stubby or angle grip and don't use laser sight since it will give your position away most of the time best to leave that slot empty
