Blaming murder on guns is like blaming pencils for bad spelling.

Even if guns were banned people would still find a way of getting them and plus this would stop crime, people would use other weapons to murder someone.

I personally don't want America to become something like Nazi Germany. If the people lose their guns, then the government could do whatever they please with little to no consequences. I'm just not a fan of potential corruption and tyranny. Plus, guns make nice home protection systems. It'd be nice if we can get to a point were there are no guns in the world, but that is not the case. Since our government has guns, we have guns. Just how I feel it's got to be.

I can understand where you are coming from but no matter if guns where banned or not people are still going to kill

look at the history, violence is within human nature

guns are primarily suppose to be looked at as a self defense mechanism

i live in Texas and our guns do not need to be registered. so its easier to own a gun here

When you get drunk and drive and kill someone its the person's fault.
But if you shoot someone, it's the guns fault.

You know 90% of the people shooting schools and robbing with guns has an illegal gun anyway. So if we were to ban guns all together we wouldn't even be able to protect are selfish when someone breaks in with an illegal gun. And we are at the age where pizza comes faster than the cops do...

I honestly think we just need to be able to open carry anywhere in the us. Because idk about you but I would not go robbing a store if I know every person in there has a gun. The states that lets you open carry has a lot less crimes, then the ones that don't allow it.

Guns are tools, used for killing, that is their purpose. A mass school knifing spree would be much harder to achieve than killing people with a Tech-9 or a semi-automatic shotgun or even assault rifle. You WOULD NEVER NEED to defend yourself with an ASSAULT RIFLE.

we need guns to protect us. if everyone owned a gun they would be able to shoot/stop the bad guy.

Forks are tools, used for eating.
Do we blame them for obesity?

"Assault rifles" Lol.

Competition shooting has been going on since the 1800's.
A gun can be a tool for sport, not killing.

As for "A mass knifing would be much harder"
LOL no it wouldn't.

It is easier to knife someone in silence than fire a gun that makes a extremely loud noise.

I find no issue in game hunting etc, but the need for automatic weapons is inexcusable. In a country where guns are readily available crime wouldn't decrease because everyone had a gun. If everyone was allowed an open carry permit people would be getting popped for pushing in line at Macdonalds.

Automatic weapons?

Normals citizens cannot legally obtain any automatic weapons.

You have to have a Federal Firearms License to own an automatic weapon.
Do you know how hard it is to obtain an FFL?
