I thought this was a very ironic situation so I thought I'd post it. I know some of you anti-gun people will get a kick out of this as well.

A Michigan man from Independence Township accidentally killed himself after reportedly firing a gun into his head while attempting to demonstrate how safe the weapon was.

The 36-year-old mans girlfriend told law enforcement that hed been drinking throughout the day when the incident occurred Sunday evening. Police told the Oakland Press that when they arrived at the home, the girlfriend was performing CPR on the man. He was declared dead at the scene.

Someone who has been drinking shouldn't have been messing with a gun in the first place.

He had three guns, in a demonstration to his girlfriend to claim the guns were safe and not loaded he pointed the guns to his head and killed the trigger. The first two were fine but the 3rd one was loaded with a live bullet.

Why would he aim it at his head?!
At least in to the air if anything ..

How unfortunate.

He really shouldn't have been so silly to handle a gun and drink :'(

Poor guy.

Yes. Another kid who I was family friends with shot himself in the head (suicide) and they managed to keep him alive for 14 hours to determine if they can perform surgery and save his life. Unfortunately that was not the case, but any help you can be while someone is shot can save their life.

OP: This is an example of a person killing a person, not a gun. He was extremely unsafe and irrational (drinking), so I don't see how people can hate the gun?
Sorry. Sad story

Infront of his girlfriend pulling triggers of guns to his head? He was probably trying to show off or something
