CorruptGamer wrote Are people dumb that's a really good pay 50k in British pounds a year = 6k a month whats up with you guys man

That's really bad maths! How can 50k a year come out as 6k a month when were there are 12months in a year. It's around 4.1k a month. Then you have to realise about bills, tv licences, petrol costs, mortgages, loan repayments etc. that doesn't leave much disposable income to be spent or saved which ever way you want

Not in this economy. I feel like that much will be bare minimum.

I don't know if 50k is good in the US, but here in Norway 50K is not that good. The average is 59k. But thats a low average.

$50k USD is like 32k+, a lot of people can live on the in the UK extremely comfortably, easily paying a mortgage and a new car etc.

If you have a family, and earn 90-100k USD i'd say you were pretty well off.

Your profile says that you are 14 and you are claiming that you earn 27k per annum. Your not even out of compulsory education yet

Considering that my family's income is around (a little bit less) that range, we live comfortably with 2 cats, 2 dogs, 6 kids, both parents.

55k is a great amount if you are good with your money

It's not that much.
Well, that's not enough to make a living in New York.
It all depends on where you live.
