Personally I think it was the stupidest idea for Microsoft to take out the AV slot on the xbox one and replacing it with a n HDMI cord slot. I feel like I'm not the only person who is having the problem of having an older tv that either doesn't support hdmi well or at all. Also it makes it so you need to upgrade your turtle beaches to get gaming sound

What's everybody else's opinion on this?

You have to realize that this is going to be the console for about the next 6-8 years or so, so they have to try and adapt to what the future is going to mainly be using. Most people don't have a problem with the HDMI either.

RCA cables were designed in the early 40's.

Time to move on to more efficient technology.

Damn, bro. I honestly don't know how you wouldn't support this new technology. The quality is so bad compared to HDMI, and LCD TV's are so cheap now a days. I think it's time for you to upgrade to a better TV.

It amazes me that your using a AV TV with a xbox one, you need to get your tech priorities straight man, they were designed in the 40s

Holy crap... The 40's called. They want their cords back. In fact, they called in the early 00's... HDMI has been the way of video transfer for like 9 years now... Welcome to the 21st century

I liked using my turtlebeach headsets but I prefer the HMDI cables more.

If you can afford the xbone then im sure you can afford a HDMI TV

You can get a half decent one for a quarter of the price why would you even want to play your xbone without hdmi lol?

That's not always true. Some people have been saving a long time just for that particular item. People that aren't as fortunate as others will come across the problem of the AV and HDMI thing.
