The best thing to do is to contact your ISP and get your broadband speed upgraded. You can improve performance, but not the actual speed as your ISP has limited you to your current download speed.
our ISP is giving us all that they can, I don't think I can help it much, thanks for your answer

My dad got one for his 'Little Black Box' its a movie box with lots of movies that you stream but I don't know how much it uses

Get UPC, I only have 30mbps and 8 Devices with internet. I live in Ireland and i'd say it's your best choice. (Unlimited Downloads) But they only give UPC in the city or close to it.

I am in Ireland too, do you mind telling me how much you pay around? we pay 35 for unlimited downloads and 50 Mb/s but we don't get the 50Mb/s

You are paying for UP TO 50/mbs.
Although they may have the best packages they may not have the best speed.
