okay so i had the same problem and you can either do one of these
contact microsoft they will offer a advance exchange- they will send you a console but before they do they will send you a xbox one game of your choice on code for you to play on for at least 5 days in till your new console arrives and when it does you will then have to send yours- the problem with the advance exchange is that you have to have atleast 325 in your bank account for them to hold in till they get your console all the money will then be put back in your account
you can contact the retailer you have it from- i had it from game and contacted them they told me to bring it in and when i did they tested to see if the console really wouldn't play disks, it wouldn't play for them and they replaced the console there and then
or you can try opening it up and sorting out the problem but i would not recommend that

Just unlucky. Some ps4 users got bricked consoles it doesn't mean Sony or Microsoft are bad at making consoles it just happens sometimes. If it's the grinding noise problem flip the console upside down and smack it a few times. Like on the area the disc drive is. Don't do this while it's on obviously but I heard that fixes it because it's a stuck gear or something
