I keep on having dreams where I can't get the objective done.
My recent one is when I had to get this dog back to the house, but bad things keep on happpeneing or I get side tracked so I don't get the objective done.
This keeps on happening in my dreams, can anyone please tell me why?

Well they're dreams.. Anything can happen because you're not controlling them [unless you lucid dream].

I think it's because you don't know whats going to happen so your mind can't create an image of it.

Don't think it's anything to be worried over. I have crazy dreams all the time, so it's quite normal for those types of things to happen. It's been said that dreams reflect events that have happened/will happen/you want to happen so maybe it has to do with something you've been experiencing in real life.
Don't know, that's just me thinking at 2:00am. Again, there's nothing to worry about.

Its just a dream.. The most insane logic i cant think of is... You need to do something but you are made to do something else.

Personally, I think it means nothing.
I had a dream that I did a backflip in a helicopter and crashed into a Starbucks, but I was OK and got a coffee.
If I was a dream interpreter, I would say that you probably have trouble completing tasks, or you procrastinate but know that you shouldn't, and this is your subconscious' way of telling you to do something about it.
But I'm not, and I don't know you, and it was a dream.
It's probably nothing.

I took some Psych classes at FSU and I'll be going to the Czech Republic over the summer to do some classes too, so I'll give my input on this. I'll keep it short.
It could mean a number of things, one being that you have a problem in real life that you need to do but obstacles keep getting in your way; School, asking a girl out, ect. This is probably the most likely, but it would help if you could give more details on other dreams.
Maybe, however, it's your brain trying to deal with something that happened already where you were tasked to do one thing, but something happened that caused it to fail. It might be playing that feeling over and over until you become adjusted to it, or learn to live with it.
Or, it could mean nothing.
I'm on my phone so sorry for any grammar mistakes.
