Im wondering what recording software is the best? I've heard good things about "ACTIONS!" And I have bandicam just wondering if there is better software than this.

yes I've heard good things about fraps but also heard that it takes your fps down a lot while recording

Yea Fraps and Camtasia are the best recording software out there. Fraps is better with slower computers, not saying it isn't good for fast computer, and camtasia is better for faster computers plus it has its own editing software.

I would suggest OBS, it's not for recording, it's for livestreaming. Which you can do via [url]Twitch.tv[/url], with that you can save you videos on Twitch. And even port them to YouTube.

I use Dxtory for recording and Open Broadcaster for Livestreaming.

Both are pretty flawless. Dxtory does record in some big files though.

Me and Slyestcat just played 2 hours (I recorded an hour and a half) of Trine 2 and the file size is:
