I am trying to update my S3 to 4.3 from 4.1.2 and it just says 'checking for software updates' and it never finds any. I have also tried doing it through samsung kies software and it says i have the latest one? anyone help? +rep Thanks!

Download odin and flash a 4.3 on it. Google and youtube are your friends.
