Is it safe to buy a xbox 360 slim power supply convert adapter cable for my xbox 360 slim. Ive went threw 4 power bricks and i need a solution. I have a regular xbox 360 power brick and i was wondering if this would work. I have a Trinity motherboard with blue led and i was thinking maybe it needed more power. Would the adapter help?

That's not the way wattage works. Your [trinity] system will draw power inline at a fixed rate. The trinity will draw 10.83a - 135w. So regardless if the power brick is rated at 150, 175, 203w, the demand will always only be 135w. The power brick will not "increase" the wattage based on its rating.
How are you going through that many power bricks? What specifically is going wrong?

I bought a xbox 360 slim power supply from Microsoft and it died in 15 min. I then went to 3 different games stops and bought them. On the Microsoft on it get a red light on the brick and I took it apart and and tested the voltage. I was getting the 5 volts from the one side but wasn't getting the 12 volts from the other side. The fan wouldn't turn on and then sparks flew out of it. The ones from gamestop didn't even work. I've bought a adapter for my old xbox and I'll tell you if it's safe.

It sounds like you may have popped the internal fuse. I know the corona model slim uses slightly less amperage than the trinity. I'm not sure though if it's a different power supply. Can you tell me the power ratings on the actual power brick that you have?
