I have purchased Modern Warfare 3 lately, because it was on sale, and its been downloading for an hour & 30ish, and it's only at 4%. Speedtest.net tells me that I have 60mb down and 20mb up, but I have no idea why on Earth it is taking me so long to download MW3. It seems to be a new issue, because I have downloaded things off the marketplace in the past, and none of them have ever seemed to be a problem.
Yes, my connection is wireless, but I don't honestly plan on changing it anytime soon, because this has never EVER been an issue before.

Please offer any insight you may have.
Thanks,
-Zilean

Okay there is a simple and fast way to speed up the download.

Go to System settings.

Go to Console Settings

Go to Startup and Shutdown

Enable Background Downloads.

Turn off the Xbox.

Wait a minute, it should be showing a light come on once turned off every like 10 seconds.

That means it is downloading. It downloads a-lot faster. To know when it's done, the light shouldn't come on anymore. Or just start the Xbox back up and view Downloads, check where it is at.

To disable this process just repeat the steps.

Hope this helped you.

That just enables downloading when the console is switched off, it has nothing to do with download speeds, lol.

You'd be surprised. It has increased my download speed by a-lot! And I have the worst connection ever. Also I am wireless. I suggest you try it. Also look it up on YouTube.

I have a problem. When I'm background downloading overnight, randomly my xbox turns off, even though my game isn't done downloading. And sometimes during the download it will randomly disconnect me from Xbox Live? Anyone have any suggestions? It's getting really fu***** annoying, having to wake up early just to start the download because it wont do it's job overnight.
Thanks In Advance,
-Zilean
