Wow.. He should've EASILY gotten 25 to life for killing someone!

I think we should have it open to more crimes, but it was manslaughter, he didnt punch with the intent to kill the guy

The UK doesn't have the death penalty for anything.
The last person put to death in the UK was in the 1960's, and the death penalty was completely removed from the statute book in 1998.

I don't think half of you realise this wasn't murder. Murder is deliberatly killing someone, this was Manslaughter.. which is killing someone unintentionally.

The man probably died as a result of the impact when he fell, not the punch. The man who threw the punch looked to have been aggrevated by the now dead man and as a result of that, he was sentenced to 4 and a half years.

This man should have gotten a good sentence of 15Years. Taking someones life, I hope he is haunted by the fact that he took a good hearted man of the face of the earth!

4 years is a 'cheap' penalty to serve for such a 'severe' crime and he probably won't be in there for anywhere near that. After 2 years or so, he'll be let out for good behaviour.

But to be fair to the guy, he never exactly meant to kill him. He will live with the knowledge that he caused the death of another man and he will carry that round for the rest of his life. That's more than a long prison sentence.

should be in prison for life. I think if you kill someone you should be locked away until you die or be executed because you took someone elses life and deserve it. just my opinion of the day

4 years? He should be sentenced to life for that.
