Honestly you have to think of the situation though this almost happened at my home because my Neighbor house was broken into and had multiple things stolen the biggest were to Polaris Rangers so thats 20k right there gone. So my dad was being really protective watching what was going on outside ect and some of my friends came to my house in the middle of the night to tap on my window and scare me. Well my dad saw the shadows and went outside with his shotgun to see what was going on luckly he fired a warning shot and my friends quickly identified themselves but if it wasnt for that who know what could of happened got to think about the context of the situation.

and also if its dark how would he know its teenagers? Im 16 but im 6'1" how would you be able to tell the difrence and we know they are probably 16 or older since it said the driving teen was also shot

If your talking about the teens, then ok sure. But it sounds like your talking about the shooter in which you are kind of contradicting yourself. The shooter was 48 so he was born in the 60's.

House lights and street lights. There are also multiple of them, so you could tell the difference between some teens throwing crap at your car or a man attempting to assault you.
