Material things aside for this one.
I am going to say that it was the year my brother had his first battle with cancer and told us he did not feel like going to Carols by Candle-light. This is a family tradition and everyone goes. So our Uncle got his pick-up and we put a twin mattress in the back of it, put a bunch of pillows and blankets-made special arrangements to take the pick-up onto the fairgrounds to where our family always sat and took him there. He got pretty tired half way through and fell asleep but at least we were all there and he really enjoyed it. In-fact - that was the last time all of our family was together for Candles by Candlelight.
