Hands down Dxtory if you have a hard drive with a 80 or above write speed. You can benchmark that on the program itself. Also, it splits the audio so say your mic is quite and your game is too loud, you can turn your game down in Sony Vegas with out effecting any mic audio.
It is best with the Lagirath Loss less codec. It makes the file sizes smaller and causes less FPS drops. If not, then Shadowplay if you have a GTX 650 or higher I think it is.

I can't tell you what the best is but I've used fraps...

Bandicam isn't good for recording gameplay.

well now i have Dxtory so problem solved

Fraps for recording OBS for streaming.

im my opinion mirillis action! is the best all tests ive done it uses less cpu usage than fraps and its got a nice gui and is simple but there is one downfall it doesent happen to everbody but wen it does it sucks. it makes the steam in game overlay not work so no shift tab which really sucks but there are probable ways around it
