So, I want to get a capture card for a while but I need a new pc, because I dont have much money I cant buy a good PC.
So, the PC that I currently have is not very good..
It has Windows XP, 3,49 GB RAM, a 256MB graphics card and a 2,80GHz processor..
It's not the best pc but I really want and need a capture card, so im trying to decide between the HD PVR 2 because the software works on windows xp and uses HDMI or the avermedia live gamer portable because the software is really good and when I eventually get a new computer it will work just fine and till then I can record using xsplit or a SD card on the capture card itself

I really need your help! If you think that you know another capture card that would be better please tell me! Thanks
Sorry for my english

That desktop can run a capture*** card easily, I have 2 GB of RAM on my laptop I record on and that it's fine

I would use HD PVR original if you have component capability on your tv, it saves you money and in the end, still get the same quality (technically)

As for the software supplied, it's not the best, arcsoft, it has a good converter for the files the HD PVR makes, but that's about it

So I'd recommend the original HD PVR and find some other editing software

I'd go with the HDPVR2,
easy setup, and easy to use.
If you need help with any
setup questions PM me
