I am not sure about the money being refunded to your account but I have heard of that happening.

I had my account hacked a few years ago and they managed to get it back to me in about 8 days.

thats good news, cheers for that man, and well he said they will check console i.d's n stuff for the purchase, they already have mine, he diffently said i will get my money back, and the stuff bought will still be on my account as they cannot remove it so thats a plus +

That's the reason license transfers on TTG Aren't supported. If you're doing something like that make sure you trust the person.

They can easily tell by the IP used to sign in, CID's and the location of the sign in(s)

Shouldn't take too long, but could be 1-2 weeks to get it back. My friend had his account hacked and there was 100s of dollars charged to his credit card and they never refunded him. You might have to fight the charges.

When Microsoft says they will do something about your situation they DO IT..

Ive had my account hacked before and hacker sold it to someone and they used all the money I had in there and bought games with...but thankfully I contacted Microsoft and they gave my account and money back within 3 days

When your account is going through the Unauthorized Access process, Microsoft do indeed record your console ID so they know what is your main console. The console that the thief recovered your account on will most likely get console banned for account theft and yes microsoft will refund your money to your bank account in a few business days. Most likely 3. You can use the Free stuff he purchased on your account. If this process takes more than a week, Once you get your account back, microsoft will award you gold membership (Mostly 1 month or 3 month) for the wait and hope you accept their apologies lol. Anyways you win regardless as the card on the account is yours which means you are not liable to anything. Good thing you called phone support and was honest with them.

Samething happended to me a long time ago. I have been on xbox since i was around 8. One day on mw2 some guy said he could give me mods. I gave him a spare account with a 1yr on it and he took it like it was his own and playing on it. Called microsoft and told them. 3 weeks later i get a call with new account details.

Damn that sucks, but I must say.. Please use the word hacked correctly.. If you gave him your details than you were not hacked. I see it more as being scammed, but have a good one, hopefully all goes in your favor and you get all of your money back.
