I just hooked up my headset adapter , and when I listen to others in a party etc , the quality is horrible. Is there a specific setting I need to change to get better quality ? I'm using Astro A40s

I'd anyone else experiencing this problem too ?

me too

on the adapter increase the voice volume all the way up by clicking the little picture of the person

have you updated the controller? It will update the controller and the chat adapter.

Yes, I have updated the controller, I can hear the chat fine, it just sounds very muffled and not crisp. Its hard to explain but it just doesn't sound correct

With mine all the sound just echoes, the chat quality is poor as well

Looks like buying an adapter off ebay was a better deal than getting an official one.
