Today I got the new XO 4 turtle Beach's and I complete regret it and am returning them
if you are planning to get them, I highly recommend that you don't.

The headset is powered from you controller and this kills your battery and the audio comes from your controller, I played for 30 minutes with a full battery on my controller and after is was just about half way from dying. The headset is to tight on your head and you cannot more the mic around it is in a fixed location. and when your playing, the game audio cuts out randomly when your playing if you have vibration on. And the chat and game volume controls are messed up, you cannot separately change the volume of the two, it changes the at the same time. lastly when your talking you cannot hear your self.

This mic is 99 dollars, and My old xbox 360 mic which is 60 is way better than this.

First off, don't write a review if you have no idea of what you're talking about.

1. Why the hell would you use batteries to power a controller AND headset. Get a wire, longer then what they give you anyway.

2. The headset is tight because it's new. -_-

3. I have no issues with them cutting out at all and neither do the 40+ other people I know got them that I play with.

4. Chat controls are not messed up, you just don't know how to use it... it's like a mix amp.

The controller on the left raises the game volume.
The Person on the left raises the chat volume.

If you raise one higher then the other it lowers it just like the astro mixamp.

the +/- on the right is the master volume is raises both levels equally once you find the level you want.

So don't write a review stating things are wrong when they're not. It's just simply you don't know what the hell you're doing.

Thanks. -_-

They really do such, and Astros also suck. And I know what im talking about because I have had multiple turtle beach headsets and these are by far the worse one they have made. If you truly think they are good then you don't know what your talking about ;)

you obviously didn't read his whole post if you think he has no idea what he is talking about. He is completely right about the headsets being tight because it's new. You are just probably used to your old headset.

I read his entire post but its not just because its new, I tried expanding it and stretching it but it didn't do much and it was still tight.

You shouldn't be having any problems with battery life on your controller if you have the play and charge kit. I've been playing for 8 or so hours today on one charge and I'm not even to 50% on my controller yet. This headset doesn't drain the battery at all.

All Turtle Beaches are tight, because there not good (To me at least), the x11, x12, x31, PX5's were all tight on my head.. Bought a pair of Astro a50's.. Most conferrable headset i've ever had.

1. most people don't want to hear themselves.
2. Just get the play and charge kit if you have that problem... I don't it lasts for a good 3 hours if it's not plugged in. You must be using cheap batteries!
3. If you are having trouble with the chat controls you have NO clue how to use them. It took me 5 mins to figure the whole controller out LOL.
4.Last but not least the game volume has NEVER cut out on me.
Overall they are a good headset. I bought the xo fours and xo sevens and I actually like them. These were just supposed to keep me until astros came out. I didn't want to use the adapter bc I still use my astros on my 360.
